With offices on five continents, we share a common goal with our partners to create intuitive, dynamic eyewear solutions through lens technology that helps promote healthy sight and wellness by enhancing the quality of vision everyday while protecting eyes from UV.

As market leaders in the field of photochromic lenses, we use this technology to create products that protect and enhance vision by adjusting and adapting to different lighting conditions.

Today, we offer adaptive solutions in more than 100 lens options and the most popular lens designs. We strive to constantly improve the future of healthy sight.

  • To meet a broad range of eyewear needs, Transitions lens products offers the answer in two different ways:

  • Transitions everyday lenses are designed to enhance everyday visual quality while preserving the health of your eyes. They can be worn indoors and automatically adapt when exposed to natural light.
  • Transitions® performance sun lenses are built for outdoor activities and help enhance visual performance by automatically adjusting to the optimum shade based on the natural light conditions.

Promoting Healthy Sight Across the Globe

Together with our partners, we are proud of our worldwide efforts to promote healthy sight and wellness through outreach, education and support of global organizations that share in our mission.

Explore the following initiatives that involve Transitions lenses:

Healthy Sight for Life Fund

Through the Transitions Healthy Sight for Life Fund, we're helping more people establish healthy eye habits today so they can enjoy healthy sight for a lifetime.

Through the fund, we support global, regional and local charitable organizations that aim to create awareness of the need for eye exams and eye protection, as well as those organizations which are working to eliminate preventable blindness.

The PGA TOUR

Transitions Optical is proud to announce a four-year global marketing partnership with the PG A TOUR. Transitions lenses have been designated the Official Eyewear of the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour.

Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight™

Join us March 15-21, 2010 at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Tampa Bay, USA for the Transitions Championship For Healthy Sight. The Copperhead course at Innisbrook has been rated one of the Top Five courses by PGA TOUR Professionals—and we are very proud to be the title sponsor of this PGA TOUR event.

Healthy Sight Ambassadors

Two of the PGA TOUR's finest golfers - Trevor Immelman and Kenny Perry - serve as Transitions Optical’s ambassadors for healthy sight. Both Trevor and Kenny are intimately familiar with the impact that healthy, quality sight has on optimal athletic performance.

Improve Your Vision, Improve Your Game™

Because the critical nature of sight is bigger than the game of golf, Transitions is also pleased to offer a broad-reaching consumer education program— Improve Your Vision, Improve Your Game — that uses tips and tools to link healthy sight and quality of sight to athletic performance.
